- Keep you updated on the progress of your pet’s health as the care is being provided
- Update you on any projected changes to the cost that differ from the initial estimate
- Offer multiple payment options to try and ensure that the cost of care is not a barrier to provision of care
- Talk to you about your pet’s needs
- Listen and address your needs as the pet parent
- Discuss costs transparently and without apology via estimates
- Have people in leadership positions to handle problems if any arise during the course of treatment
