The goal of our financial policy is to offer the best care and tailor health care plans for patients with no surprises to the client.

Our Pledge To You In a sincere effort to provide you and your pet with a comprehensive, personalized health care plan, Heartland Veterinary Hospital pledges to do the following:
  • Provide you with a plan for the health care of your pet before any care is provided
  • Answer any and all questions you have about the proposed health care plan for your pet
  • Provide you with a detailed list of the costs for the proposed healthcare plan for your pet

In order to achieve these goals listed above, we promise to:
  • Keep you updated on the progress of your pet’s health as the care is being provided
  • Update you on any projected changes to the cost that differ from the initial estimate
  • Offer multiple payment options to try and ensure that the cost of care is not a barrier to provision of care
  • Talk to you about your pet’s needs
  • Listen and address your needs as the pet parent
  • Discuss costs transparently and without apology via estimates
  • Have people in leadership positions to handle problems if any arise during the course of treatment

The goal of our financial policy is to offer the best care and tailor health care plans for patients with no surprises to the client. Payment is required at time of service or time of discharge from the hospital. Our payment options are as follows:

  • Electronic Payment – Credit, Debit, Apple Pay, Venmo
  • Check for established clients
  • CareCredit
  • ScratchPay
  • We do not offer any in-house payment plans
