Dr. Aaron Rowland, a Danville native, graduated from Danville High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Centre College and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Auburn University. Upon graduation, Dr. Rowland returned to Danville and began practicing at Heartland Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Rowland is married to Dr. Amanda, also a veterinarian, who is from Campbellsville, Kentucky. Together they have two children, Alex and Aubrey, and a boxer named “Carl”.
Dr. Rowland enjoys being active in the education of the community and its residents. He provides enrichment programs on the care and welfare of animals at Kids Can Do, The Wilderness Trace Child Development Center, Sunrise Children’s Home, A Child’s Place, and the local elementary schools. He provides similar programs for the residents of McDowell Place and Arnold Tower. At these programs, Dr. Rowland encourages hands-on experiences by taking along a variety of guests, including dogs, cats, “pocket pets” such as a hedge hog, and occasionally a snake.
Dr. Rowland serves on the Board of Directors for the Wilderness Trace Child Development Center, the Boyle County Health Department, Ephraim McDowelll Health, and the Hudson-Ellis Advisory Board. He is a former board member of the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce and The Heart of Kentucky United Way. He is a member of the Danville Rotary Club and the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Rowland’s hobbies include outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, boating, and sports in general. He enjoys travel and photography and is an avid UK sports fan.
Tiffany has been a member of the Heartland team since 2017, starting her journey as a kennel technician and working her way up to her current role as practice manager. She is dedicated to ensuring that everything runs smoothly in the hospital, stepping in wherever needed to support her team and our furry patients.
With a passion for hands-on veterinary care, Tiffany especially enjoys placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and quickly delivering test results to pet owners.
Outside of work, Tiffany and her husband, John, are proud parents to two fur children— Zeppelin, a Great Dane, and Bentlee, a lab mix. They also welcomed their first child Gracelynn into the world in December 2023. Their daughter has quickly become the light of their lives.
In her free time, Tiffany loves spending quality moments with her family and capturing the beauty of animals and nature through photography as a hobby. Her role at Heartland isn’t just a job; it’s her passion!
Stephanie joined the Heartland team in 2019 as a veterinary technician and has since advanced to her role as Practice Manager. She graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and her expertise has greatly contributed to the team’s success.
At Heartland, Stephanie loves drawing blood, educating clients, and helping animals feel better. Her yellow lab, Sadie, is her constant companion, even at work!
At home, she shares her life with a house cat named CJ, five horses, five barn cats, and beef cattle. In her free time, you’ll find her dedicated to her family farm, where she enjoys every moment spent with her animals.
Madisyn joined the Heartland team in May 2022. She graduated from Morehead State University with both her associate and bachelor’s degrees in veterinary technology and successfully passed her boards exam to become a licensed veterinary technologist.
At work, Madisynn particularly enjoys placing IV catheters, working with exotic pets, and sharing her knowledge with colleagues during staff meetings on various veterinary topics.
Outside of work, she loves to travel, spend time with friends, or enjoy a relaxing day at home.
Hailee has been a dedicated member of the Heartland family since July 2022, beginning her journey as a kennel technician before advancing to her current role as a veterinary technician. Her passion for animal care and client education is evident in everything she does.
Hailee loves educating clients on how to provide the best care for their pets, and she is skilled in running in-house bloodwork and performing dental cleanings. Her strong work ethic and genuine love for animals shine through in her compassionate approach to veterinary care.
In her free time, Hailee enjoys spending quality moments with her husband, Ethan, and their two dogs, Bruno, a beagle, and Moose, a Vizsla. She also enjoys deer hunting, embracing her love for the outdoors.

Hannah joined the Heartland family in March 2023 and brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for animal care. Growing up on a farm in Garrard County, she was surrounded by a variety of animals, from horses and cattle to pigs, goats, chickens, and, of course, her beloved dogs and cats. Her lifelong love for animals—big and small—shines through in her work.
At Heartland, Hannah discovered her true passion. She enjoys placing catheters, educating clients, and analyzing cytology samples, ensuring that every pet receives the best care possible.
Outside of her veterinary duties, Hannah and her husband, Noah, share their home with three dogs: Cash, Rip, and Carter. She loves to explore the outdoors through hiking, kayaking, and gardening, and she finds joy in leading worship at her church.
Hannah is committed to treating your pets with the same love and care she gives her own!
Morgan joined the Heartland team in May 2024, bringing her enthusiasm and love for animals to our daycare program. She has a special place in her heart for all the dogs in our care, as well as for animals of all shapes and sizes.
Since joining us, Morgan has adopted Moses, a boxer from the Across America Boxer Rescue, and the two have become inseparable. Wherever you find Morgan, you’re sure to see Moses happily following right beside her.
Morgan is eager to learn and continuously seeks to expand her knowledge within the hospital. Her kindness and dedication shine through in all she does, whether she’s caring for the pets or assisting her colleagues.
In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time on her family farm, where she continues to nurture her love for animals. We’re grateful to have her as part of our Heartland family!
Taylor joined the Heartland Team in July 2024, and her love for every daycare & boarding dog shines through in her work, she is dedicated to ensuring that each pet feels cared for and cherished during their stay with us.
Since her journey here, Taylor has adopted Molly, a sweet and loving Pitbull, and she also welcomed a little rescued kitten into her life. Her home is filled with warmth and affection for her fur babies, and when she isn’t at work, up can find her cuddling them.
Taylor’s compassion and commitment to animal care make her a wonderful addition to our team, and we’re thrilled to have her at Heartland Veterinary Hospital.
Laura joined the Heartland team in April 2023 as a kennel technician and has since advanced to her role as a veterinary technician. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time here and is committed to a long-term career in veterinary medicine.
Her favorite aspects of her job include caring for the pups in doggy daycare, welcoming new puppies and kittens during their first appointments, and drawing blood from patients.
Outside of work, Laura loves spending time on the farm with her cows, and her favorite breed to work with is longhorns. We’re thrilled to have her on the team, and she looks forward to meeting your fur babies!
Maggie first joined our team in 2021, and after a brief move to Washington, we are thrilled to welcome her back in 2024! As one of the first faces you’ll meet when you enter Heartland, Maggie always greets everyone with a warm smile.
Her sweet personality and love for animals make her a joy to work alongside. Since returning to Heartland, Maggie has adopted an abandoned kitten that she bottle-fed, and she has also cared for two other kittens in the same way. She shares her life with her amazing partner, Matt, and together they care for two dogs: Pepper Bean, a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, and Indie, a Cocker Spaniel. Their family also includes Spud, a bearded dragon, two cats named Jessica and Opal, and Oksana, her most recent foster kitty.
Maggie loves assisting animals on the path to recovery and enjoys learning about animal science in the hospital while building connections with pets and their owners. When she isn’t on the clock, you might find her spending her free time in the hospital area, eager to continue her education and grow in her career. She also has a passion for grooming dogs as a hobby, along with a love for music and art.

Maureen has been a welcoming face at Heartland Veterinary Hospital since October 2017. As one of our receptionists, She takes great care in filling out patient charts to ensure all information is accurate. Maureen also enjoys assisting with dental cleaning and loves the opportunity to see all the different animals that come into the clinic.
Originally from Michigan, Maureen moved to Kentucky in 2015 with her husband, Nathan, and their two children, Benjamin and Makayla. Her family includes two dogs, Jax and Shylah, a few feline fur babies, and their gecko, Martini.
In her spare time, Maureen loves to craft, often reusing materials for her projects. Recently, she has taken up sewing as a new hobby. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and has a passion for reading and exchanging books with others.
